I am running for reelection to the county council to bring a more fiscally conservative approach to our county government.  Large GRT revenue from LANL activities is not guaranteed in the future. The county must take prudent steps now to ensure that we are living within our means.  I have been a strong advocate for the mandatory voter approval of large capital projects.  I have steadfastly opposed expansive road projects that would create unnecessary obstacles for traffic and hurt local businesses.  I am not afraid to take the minority position on council when the minority position is the right position for working people, families, and small businesses.
